LEDES Timekeeper Classification Codes (PT, AS, OC, LA, OT)

Every fee line in a LEDES 1998B file carries the timekeeper's ID, name and classification. The classification is one of:

Timekeeper ID

A short unique ID — initials or an employee number. Some portals allow only 8 characters, so keep it short. The same person must use the same ID on every invoice.

Timekeeper name

"Last, First", up to 30 characters, e.g. Bell, Nora.
